Self Amalgamating Tapes

Self amalgamating tapes are used to create a close-wrapped sealing layer around cable joints, connectors and other exposed interfaces. Once applied under tension, the tape fuses into a continuous protective wrap that helps exclude moisture and environmental contamination.

They are widely used around RF connections, cable transitions and outdoor jointing details where flexible sealing is needed without rigid coverings. Their function is closely tied to weatherproofing and connection protection rather than to general bundling or identification.
