Wood & Coach Screws

Wood and coach screws are used where strong mechanical fixing is needed into timber or other compatible backing materials. They support heavier-duty attachment work than light wood screws and are suited to support frames, backing boards and structural timber details.

These fixings are used where the substrate itself provides the holding body for the screw rather than a separate anchor system. Diameter, thread form and screw length all influence pull-out performance and the suitability of the fixing for the job.
