Steel Banding

Steel banding is used to secure brackets, adaptors and support accessories to poles, tower members and other structural elements where drilled attachment is not suitable. It provides a wrap-around fixing method that can be tensioned tightly around the supporting surface.

This type of fixing is widely used in telecom infrastructure because it allows mounting to existing structures while limiting structural intrusion. Band width, tensioning method and corrosion resistance influence how the banding performs once installed outdoors.
